This videolog takes you on another short journey to the acropolis in Athens, Greece where you’ll see images of the old temple of Athena. Athena was the patron deity of the city from which Athens derives its name. The old temple was built between 500 to 525 BC, but was destroyed in 480 BC during a Persian invasion.
