011 Pergamos 1

This video shows the sights and sounds of the modern city of Bergama in the Izmir province of Turkey. The video describes the ancient ruins to be found in this city including the Red Basilica and the Pergamum (Pergamos) acropolis. Pergamos was the third of seven cities that John wrote to in the Book of Revelation. This video log explains the history of the ancient ruins including the architecture of the temple of Athena and the temple of Trajan located on the acropolis.
