007 Sirince

In this video log, John Cassinat shows the sights, sounds, and doors of the ancient town of Sirince in the Izmir Province of Turkey. Sirince dates back to the Hellenistic era of the Greek empire. During this video log, John Cassinat also explains how most of the Greek residents were forced to leave the town, their property, and many of their possessions as part of the 1923 Population Exchange Agreement between Turkey and Greece.
