[§§338-339] Rev 20:7 Satan Loosed for the Little Season [11/1/26]

This podcast explains the little season of wickedness that will begin when Satan is loosed from the bottomless pit at the end of the millennium as described by John in Revelation 20:7, which states: “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison.” John describes how Satan is bound in the bottomless pit at the start of the millennium in Revelation 20:1-3. This podcast initially talks about the duration of the little season as lasting less than 100 years, based on the 100-year lifespan of millennial mortals and the fact that children will not be born during the little season for reasons explained during this podcast.   By the time Satan is loosed from his prison with all unembodied spirit sons of perdition at the start of the little season, the first resurrection of all celestial and terrestrial-worthy people will be complete. The only people left on earth will be telestial-worthy people and sons of perdition.  Even before Satan is loosed at the end of the millennium, people will become increasingly wicked in the same way the Nephites became increasingly wicked after their golden era described in the Book of Mormon. Satan will be loosed by the exercise of priesthood keys held by Michael the Archangel to fulfill the purposes of God. Having already redeemed all celestial and terrestrial worthy people, God’s purpose is save as many people in the telestial kingdom who repent when they suffer the wrath of God during the Armageddon-like the battle of Gog and Magog during the little season.
