[§310] The Marriage Supper at New Jerusalem [Zion]

This podcast explains in detail the marriage supper of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) on earth at New Jerusalem (Zion) in Missouri after the marriage of the Lamb on heavenly Mount Zion at the Second Coming.  This explanation includes a description of the three classes or categories of persons who attend the marriage supper including (1) exaltation-worthy saints represented by the bride of Christ, who are also members of the Church of the Firstborn, (2) groomsmen and bridesmaids who are worthy of celestial glory but not exaltation. They are members of the general assembly of the Church of the Firstborn. (3) Finally, there are other “guests" who are also celestial worthy. These classes of attendees are reflected in three separate parables of the Savior including the parable of the marriage supper in Matthew 22, the parable of the wedding guests in Luke 14, and the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25.   Among these three categories of people who attend the marriage supper, there are two types of people. They include those who are resurrected or translated, as well as those who are disembodied spirits of deceased persons and mortal people. All people who attend the marriage supper must be celestial worthy, which means they live celestial law.    The translated people who attend the marriage supper include those people who are still living at the time of the Second Coming, and who are translated, transfigured, or quickened at the end of the second woe to be lifted up and stand in the flesh with Christ on heavenly Mount Zion as recorded in Revelation 14:1-5. The translated people also include the Lost Ten Tribes, who were translated about 570 AD.   The resurrected people who attend the marriage supper include exaltation-worthy people who are dead at the time of the Second Coming, but rise from their graves at the end of the Second Woe when the morning of the first resurrection resumes.
