[§176] Rev 11:11-12: The Two Witnesses Resurrect After 3½ Days

This podcast explains the context and meaning of John's vision in Revelation 11:11-12, where he saw the literal resurrection of the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem after they died and were left unburied by their killers for 3½ days.  Throughout this 3 ½-day period, the killers rejoiced and made merry, but when the spirit of life entered into the Two Witnesses and they stood upon their feet, great fear fell upon the jubilant onlookers. The final abomination in Jerusalem which also lasts for 3½ days will then cease. Great fear will fall upon the gentile nations gathered against Jerusalem and the wicked people of the world generally. When the Two Witnesses resurrect, the morning of the first resurrection will resume. Many other exaltation-worthy saints will then rise from their graves. Their lifeless bodies shall be quickened by the power of the Holy Ghost to become immortal, and they will never die again.
