[§175] Rev 11:8-10: The Bodies of the Two Witnesses Lie Unburied

8/17/2025
This podcast explains the context and meaning of John's vision in Revelation 11:8-10, where he saw the dead bodies of the Two Witnesses lie in the streets of Jerusalem unburied for 3 ½ days.  In these verses the modern city of Jerusalem is "spiritually" (metaphorically) called Sodom for its wickedness and Egypt for it oppressive conditions.  The city is called by these symbolic names, but there can be no mistake that Jerusalem is the city where the Two Witnesses die because it is also identified as the place where Jesus Christ was crucified. The Two Witnesses were left unburied as a sign of dishonor, disrespect, and impiety. The testimony of the Two Witnesses will continue after they seal their testimony with their blood for all people, kindred, tongues, and nations shall see their unburied bodies through modern means of communication. Their bodies shall be exposed to world view for a literal period of 3½ days. Revelation 11:10 states that there will be worldwide rejoicing and gift-giving when the Two Witnesses die because they will no longer be a source of protection to the Jews and Jerusalem. -------------------------- Chapters 00:00 Welcome to Unveiling Jesus Christ 00:30 Death and Lack of Burial for the Two Witnesses 05:08 Jerusalem: Latter-day Sodom and Egypt 21:54 The Two Dead Witnesses Remain Unburied 27:24 The Bodies Are Unburied 3½ Days Literally 30:28 Rejoicing Over the Deaths of the Two Witnesses 35:32 The Identities of those Who Rejoice -------------------------- 🔗 Where to Find More from Unveiling Jesus Christ ► YouTube: ‪https://www.youtube.com/@UnveilingJesusChrist ► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UnveilingJesusChrist ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/johncassinat/ ► Website: https://www.unveilingjesuschrist.com/
